What Low Water Pressure Service Covers
Last updated: October 2026
North Carolina Plumbing Pros evaluates reported low water pressure and, when agreed, repairs plumbing components that may be causing it. Work can include pressure testing, diagnosing accessible piping or pressure-control equipment, and completing specifically approved repairs. The written estimate or work order defines the exact tasks; well, pump, electrical, excavation, and water-treatment work is not included unless separately listed and approved.
We follow applicable North Carolina Plumbing Code provisions and local permit requirements. Contracting plumbing work requires the appropriate North Carolina license.
Where relevant, pressure-reducing valves must comply with applicable code, including the International Plumbing Code provision addressing pressure above 80 psi. Private-well work is subject to North Carolina rules, including 15A NCAC 02C; a well permit is required before well construction.
Pump wiring and disconnects must meet applicable Electrical Code requirements. Agencies with relevant oversight may include the North Carolina State Board of Examiners of Plumbing, Heating and Fire Sprinkler Contractors, DHHS, DEQ, the Department of Labor, and, for Raleigh projects, Raleigh Development Services.
Setting, Changing, or Cancelling a Visit
Appointments are arranged by phone, email, or another method confirmed by North Carolina Plumbing Pros. We will confirm the planned visit window and any access details available at booking. Please make sure an adult can provide access to the affected areas and tell us about known site conditions before the appointment.
If you need to cancel or change a visit, contact us as soon as possible and before the scheduled arrival when practical. We will explain any applicable cancellation or trip charges before they are incurred; no charge is implied here unless it was disclosed and agreed. Weather, emergencies, parts availability, or other conditions may require rescheduling, and we will contact you to discuss a new time.
If inspection shows that the requested work differs from the original plan, we will explain the change and its effect on timing or cost. We will not proceed with added work without your approval, except where immediate action is legally required or separately authorized to address an urgent safety concern.
Estimates, Approved Work, and Payment
Before work begins, North Carolina Plumbing Pros will describe the proposed tasks and provide an estimate or other written pricing information when applicable. An estimate is based on the conditions visible or reported at the time; concealed damage, inaccessible piping, or a different cause of low pressure may require a revised scope. We will explain any proposed change and obtain your approval before performing additional work.
The estimate or work order will state the payment terms for the agreed job, including when payment is due and any accepted payment methods. Please review those terms before authorizing service and raise questions before work starts. No price, payment deadline, financing option, or fee is promised by this general policy unless it appears in the specific estimate or is otherwise confirmed in writing.
You are responsible for payment for authorized work under the agreed terms. If a billing concern arises, contact us promptly so we can review the estimate, approvals, and completed work together.
Written Terms for Workmanship Coverage
Any workmanship warranty offered by North Carolina Plumbing Pros will be stated in writing for the specific job. That document will identify the covered work, the coverage period, and how to request service.
These general terms do not create a warranty duration or promise coverage where no written warranty has been provided. Manufacturer warranties on parts or equipment are separate and depend on the manufacturer’s terms.
Coverage may not apply to problems caused by misuse, unauthorized changes, lack of maintenance, normal wear, outside events, or conditions that were not part of the approved work. A warranty also does not automatically cover a separate plumbing, well, pump, or electrical fault. The written warranty controls to the extent allowed by law.
If you believe covered workmanship has failed, contact us with your name, service address, and a description of the issue. Give us a reasonable chance to inspect the work before another party alters or repairs it, unless urgent action is needed to protect people or property. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
Responsibility for Existing and New Conditions
North Carolina Plumbing Pros is responsible for the work it agrees to perform, subject to applicable law and the written job terms. To the extent permitted by law, any liability for a claim related to a particular service is limited to the amount paid for that service. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it, including any nonwaivable consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be restricted.
We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, concealed conditions, or failures in equipment and systems outside the approved scope. Low pressure may have more than one cause, and a repair to one component may not resolve a separate underlying problem. We will explain material findings and seek approval before expanding the work.
Work must comply with applicable North Carolina Plumbing Code and permit requirements. Pressure-reducing valves, private-well work under 15A NCAC 02C, required well permits, and pump wiring or disconnects are subject to applicable code and regulatory rules. These terms do not authorize unlicensed contracting or waive required permits.
